Who's Jumped on the Sourdough Train?
Well...I finally did. After seeing sourdough everywhere, I decided it was time to give it a try, and these sourdough cinnamon rolls have quickly become a family favorite.
They're the kind of recipe everyone asks for after one bite, and I've lost count of how many batches I've shared with neighbors, friends, and anyone who happens to stop by while they're still warm. One of my favorite things about baking is that good food has a way of bringing people together. A pan of fresh cinnamon rolls has become one of my favorite ways to welcome someone, celebrate a friend, or simply say, "I was thinking about you."

I follow a wonderful cinnamon roll recipe I found online (I'll link it below!), but I've made one little change that has become my secret ingredient. I add a cup of active sourdough starter right into the dough. It gives the rolls just a little more flavor, a softer texture, and that subtle tang that makes sourdough so special without overpowering the sweetness. There's something about the smell of cinnamon, butter, and fresh bread filling the house that makes it instantly feel like home.

So, if you've been thinking about hopping on the sourdough train, this is your sign. Start with something you already love, add a little starter, and don't be afraid to make it your own. And if you happen to have an extra pan? Share it. Some of the sweetest moments in life begin with someone knocking on a neighbor's door holding a warm plate of cinnamon rolls.
